Requesting Holiday for Another User

Select the ‘employees’ tab at the left-hand side of the page and choose the appropriate employee. Click on the green ‘Actions’ button at the right-hand side of the page, and select ‘Book Absence’ in the dropdown.

Fill in type, start date and duration of holiday. Ensure to type something in the ‘Notes’ section before clicking ‘Save’.

  • N.B. If you can approve this employee’s holiday, or are allowed to self-approve, and wish to approve immediately, check the approve box. If not an email will automatically be sent to the person allowed to approve the holiday.

If an absence has been approved, it will appear on the dashboard under ‘Upcoming Absence’. If it has been rejected, this will show on the employee’s absence records. For help accessing these, please see our Employees help page

 

Reporting the Lateness of Another User

Click on the ‘employees’ tab at the left-hand side of the page and choose the appropriate employee. Select the green ‘Actions’ button at the right-hand side of the page, and click ‘Reporting Lateness’ in the dropdown.

Select the date on which the lateness occurred, and the shift time if applicable. Give the number of minutes late, and the reason for lateness and click ‘Save’.

 

Reporting the Sickness of Another User

Select the ‘employees’ tab at the left-hand side of the page and choose the appropriate employee. Click on the green ‘Actions’ button at the right-hand side of the page, and select ‘Book Absence’ in the dropdown.

Fill in type (choosing either ‘Self Cert.’, ‘Medically Cert.’, or ‘Uncertified’ Sickness), start date and duration of sickness. Ensure to type something in the ‘Notes’ section before clicking ‘Save’.

  • N.B. If you can approve this employee’s sickness or are allowed to self-approve, and wish to approve immediately, check the approve box. If not an email will automatically be sent to the person allowed to approve the sickness.
